Baina Side-Slit Wide-Leg Pants
DESCRIPTION
In traditional culture, Baina (Boro) patchwork symbolises the collective blessings, protection, and care gathered from many households and communities. These trousers are crafted from reclaimed denim offcuts in varying shades of indigo, patchworked together with repurposed bed linen fabrics sourced from the retired inventory of Hotel Royal Chiaohsi, transforming discarded materials into a contemporary expression of craftsmanship and sustainability.
The design features a versatile buttoned hem that allows the silhouette to be adjusted with ease. Wear them as relaxed straight-leg wide trousers or fasten the hems to create a more tapered shape, offering two distinct looks in one garment.
Blending traditional patchwork artistry with modern functionality, the trousers can be paired with the matching Boro Patchwork Denim Jacket for a coordinated set.
